LWC (Light Weight Coated)
This is a light weight coated paper grade i (39-70 gsm). The raw materials are often a combination of mechanical pulp and chemical pulp. If substantial deinked paper has been used, we call it recycled LWC. The whiteness is commonly around ISO 70-75. LWC+ or more correctly MWC has a higher whiteness (ISO 80-100) than the basic LWC paper. Multiple names for this paper grade are in use.
