2001
On December 31st, 2001, a printing company by the name of ‘Emmense Rotatiedrukkerij’ (Emro) is acquired. This company is renamed ‘Thijsen Rotatiedruk Emmen ltd.’
2004
On February 5th, 2004, the Heidelberg M3000/32 goes into production. This press is based on a completely new concept by Heidelberg Web Systems. It has a cut-off of 610 mm and a maximum web width of 1830 mm. Its maximum speed is of 88,000 rph. The installation of this machine enables Thijsen to serve the targeted market even better.
2005
As of May 26th, Thijsen continues its activities under the name of Thijsen Media Group. The services now also include initial concepts, design, photography, database publishing, in-store communications, internet and fulfillment.
2006
Thijsen Rotatiedruk celebrates its 110th anniversary.
